For now, I will try and make as many base game builds as possible, which means no expansions/game/stuff packs will be used and no custom content will be added. My builds will be accessible to as many Sims 4 players as possible. In addition, it forces me to be creative when I make my builds.
I use OBS Studio to record snippets of the house, I don’t just record everything in one file. This makes editing a bit faster and less straining.
While recording I use The Sims 4 standard cinematic mode, everyone can use this when you press TAB in LIVE mode. Then using CTRL + 5 and CTRL + 6 I will save camera points, after that I will press SHIFT + 5 to realign to the first camera point, and while recording click 6 to start the camera movement.
I use the ‘EasyInOut’ settings and 8.0 seconds on each camera sweep, you can change these settings in the ‘VideoCamera.ini’ setting file located in your sims 4 installation folder.
